Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town
Upon arrival at the airport collect your rental car, and drive to your hotel. Upon arrival, collect your rental car. Your first night is spent in Franschhoek. Idyllically situated in the Cape Winelands, this peaceful country retreat is one of the oldest towns in South Africa.
Day 2: Franschhoek – Oudtshoorn
This morning, after breakfast, check out & continue on your route to Oudtshoorn.
Oudtshoorn is famous for its ostriches & the magnificent Cango Caves. Located along the renowned Route 62, which takes motorists past one awe-inspiring sight after another, Oudtshoorn is known as the Ostrich Capital of the World: these huge birds are almost as common as people in this charming town. The Oudtshoorn area also boasts the spectacular Cango Caves; the largest show cave system in Africa.
Day 3: Oudtshoorn -Addo Elephant National Park
Check out from your accommodation in Oudtshoorn and drive past Port Elizabeth, to Addo Elephant National Park.

Addo is home to one of the densest African Elephant populations on earth, roughly 550 of them. More recently the Addo Elephant National Park has expanded to become the only park in the world to lay claim to Africa’s ‘Big 7’ – elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo, leopard, southern right whale and great white shark.
Day 4 & 5: Addo Elephant National Park

Day 6: Addo Elephant National Park – Knysna
Nestled between the imposing Outeniqua Mountains & the Indian Ocean & surrounded by
world-renowned forests, Knysna offers a wealth of activities for visitors. The beautiful lagoon & more than eight beaches provide opportunities to swim, surf, canoe, yacht, jet-ski, boat, fish, walk on soft sand & take ferry rides. Various markets offer organic goods, delicious food, indigenous plants & a social atmosphere.
Day 7 & 8: Knysna
Two full days to enjoy activities in Knysna & the Tsitsikamma Forest.
Day 9: Knysna – Gondwana Private Game Reserve
This morning check out of your hotel and make your way to Gondwana Private Game Reserve for your safari experience! Gondwana Private Game Reserve provides an authentic African Safari Experience along South Africa’s scenic Garden Route.
Day 10: Gondwana Private Game Reserve
Full day at Gondwana Game Reserve.
Day 11: Gondwana Private Game Reserve – Cape Town
Today, drive to Cape Town, where you will spend the last few nights! Visit the The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, one of the city’s main tourist attractions, offers the visitor a unique shopping & holiday experience on a scenic working harbour. A visit to Cape Town is synonymous with a visit to the peninsula south of the city, & for good reason.
With pristine white-sand beaches, hundred of mountain trails, & numerous activities from surfing to paragliding to mountain biking, the accessibility, variety, & pure beauty of the great outdoors will keep nature lovers & outdoor adventurers occupied for hours, if not days!
Day 12 & 13: Cape Town
