Day 01: Welcome to Indonesia
Welcome to Jakarta, metropolitan city and capital of Indonesia. Arriving at the “heart” of the
Indonesian Republic, you will have to pass immigration, collect your bags and meet the staff
of the Hotel FM7 itself in charge of taking you to the Hotel. This hotel is located just 15 minutes from the airport, avoiding entering the noisy city. The FM7 is a charming hotel where you will rest after the international flight. Arrival at the Hotel and check in process. Confirm with your hotel again the time they should transfer you back to the airport the next day. Good evening and may you rest.

Day 02: Jakarta – Pangkalan bun – Kumai – Tanjung Harapan
Luggage ready, today the day has come to get to know one of the most important centers of
biodiversity in the world and the third largest island on the planet. Borneo!!! After breakfast and at the indicated time you will have the transfer to the airport to take the direct flight to Pangkalan Bun, on the island of Borneo, or better known by Indonesians as Kalimantan. Upon arrival at the airport your guide will be waiting for you to transfer you to the port of Kumai about 15-20 minutes by car where we will embark on a great adventure! The time of entry to the Boat will be at 11am or earlier if the boat is already available.
If your flight arrives early (before 12.00) we can arrive on time at the Tanjung Harapan rehabilitation center where at 3 pm, the National Park Rangers feed the Orangutans and you can have the first close encounters with them. Tanjung Harapan’s translation is Cape of Hope. This first camp is one of those with more wetlands and being in the afternoon has more mosquitoes so make sure you put enough mosquito repellent. After the visit to this Ranger Camp, you will continue upstream, resting on the boat, while we look for animals in the vicinity of the Sekonyer River. This afternoon it is very common to see groups of proboscis monkeys and macaques in the treetops, jumping from one branch to another, or even see monitor lizards or crocodiles in the shallow waters of the sides of the river.
Get ready for the sunset and enjoy the exquisite food prepared by our jungle crew. The boat moors on one side of the river for the night. Tonight we can take a walk through the jungle to look for nocturnal animals such as snakes, tarantulas or even if we are lucky, we can see luminescent mushrooms or tarsier monkeys.

Day 03: Tanjung Harapan Village – Proboscis Tour – Camp Leakey
After an incredible breakfast, we head to visit the village within the national park, called Tanjung Harapan Village. Here you can see the activities of local people. After the visit, you will return to the klotok cruise to the Sekonyer river, you will see nice vegetation around the river bank, Nipa Palm, Pandanus and some kinds of trees growing around the river. See some wildlife such as birds, macaques, proboscis monkeys and orangutans. You will see how the coloration of the river changes and you will have the opportunity to see crocodiles and large monitor lizards. Arrival at Camp Leakey, the former orangutan research and rehabilitation center since 1971, when a student at UCLA University in Los Angeles, Birutte Galdikas, began studying orangutans there. The name Camp Leaky comes from Birutte’s own teacher, paleoanthropologist Louis Leakey.
At least 200 orangutans had already been cured and returned to the jungles thanks to this center. However, since 1995, the Indonesian government banned the introduction of more orangutans into this camp, so orangutans are increasingly adapting to freedom. To this day, this camp is used as research on orangutan behavior and feeding. You will take advantage of your guide to explore a little the jungle interiors to look for wild orangutans and other animals. At 14.00 hours you can see the feeding time of the Orangutans. You can also visit the small museum made by the scientist Dr. Birute Galdikas.

Day 04: Pondok Tangguy – Campamento Leakey
Today you will wake up to the sounds and colors of the jungle. With total security, you will
never forget how you woke up in the river surrounded by this overflowing nature. After an
extraordinary breakfast on board, we will go in time to see the Tanggui camp at the time of feeding animals (9am) Little by little you will see how the branches of the treetops begin to move and then you will see the silhouettes of the Orangutans arriving little by little to the feeding platform. Tanggui was a release camp for Young Orangutans who were rehabilitated, and continue to add food every day, to prevent the Orangutans from moving away due to lack of food, and end up outside the National Park, with the next risk of falling into traps of villagers or fields of Palm Oil Plantations. After the Orangutans start leaving, you’ll return to Klotok again to go even further upstream. You will see how the coloration of the river changes and you will have the opportunity to see crocodiles and large monitor lizards, along with Gibbons and proboscis Monkeys. And of course, enjoy lunch in the middle of this natural scenery.
Arrival at Camp Leakey, the old orangutan research and rehabilitation center since 1971,

To this day, this camp is used as behavioral research and feeding of Orangutans. At 14.00 you can see the feeding time of the Orangutans. You can also visit the small museum made by the scientist Dr. Birute Galdikas. At the end of observing the orangutans in this camp and if time and conditions permit, we will make a gentle hike through the jungle back to the boat to look for orangutans in freedom and other animals, on the way we will have the opportunity to meet from the hand of our local guides,
some of them born in the jungle, How to look for carnivorous animals or plants or simply listen to their experience of life in the jungle.
The jungles of Borneo, have given life and home to the inhabitants for millions of years, are jungles that under the eyes of the grandparents settlers are able to give everything one needs. Food, water, medicine, yes… Never put anything in your mouth without the recommendation of your guide. In the afternoon, if it does not rain, the boat will dock near a congregation of fireflies and you can enjoy the spectacle of their luminescence.

Day 05: Kumai – Pangkalanbun – Semarang – Borobudur – Yogyakarta
In the early morning, we will enjoy the last moments of the sounds of the jungle, before heading to the port, to in turn, be transferred to the airport to catch the flight to Semarang. Arriving at Semarang Airport, your Java guide will be waiting for you to start exploring one of Indonesia’s most traditional islands. In about two hours of walking, we will arrive at Magelang where one of the most important Buddhist Temples in Southeast Asia is located. The Candi Borobudur, (Temple of Borobudur), the great Stupa, the largest Buddhist monument in the world and one of the seven wonders. We will tour the temple, observing the hundreds and centennial Buddha statues and observing how dozens of Buddhists come to preach from all over the world.
Historically it was made during the relatively brief Sailendra dynasty of Central Java between 778 and 856 BC and is in constant restoration due to the breaks that the tremors of the neighboring Merapi volcano have been producing during its history. After visiting the Borobudur Temple, and after about an hour and a half, we will arrive in Yogyakarta, a tourist destination for its ancient palaces, temples, batik workshops, Gamelan music orchestras, court dances and W yang puppet shows. Your guide will take you to your hotel. Check in and rest of the day for you.

Day 06 : Yogyakarta City Tour – Prambanan
This tour will make us lose ourselves in the authentic magic of Yogyakarta. You will start your day with breakfast at the hotel and then head towards the heart of the city. We will visit the Keraton known as the Sultan’s Palace. The palace is a complex building of two centuries old, located in the heart of the city. You will hear the song of the “freedom” of the birds in the bird market, we will visit the “Water Castle” that occupies the highest part at the northern end of the vast complex of Taman Sari, Malioboro Street, main street of Yogyakarta, with its merchants, horse carriages, taxi-bikes and markets. An incredible experience that will make the hours fly by.
Finishing the tour in the center of the city of Yogyakarta, we will go northeast towards Candi Prambanan, the temple of Hindus and classified as a World Heritage Site by Unesco since 1991. This temple was completed around the year 856 to commemorate the victory of the descendant Sanjaya of Siva, Rikai Pikatan over the last sovereign Sailendra of Central Java. Take your time to enjoy each carving on the rocks and feel the spirituality that each of the stones perched on this set of more than 200 Hindu temples that are dedicated to then Trimurti, the expression of God as the Creator, the Preserver and the Destroyer. After this day that you will never forget, we will take you to your hotel.

Day 07: Yogyakarta – Bromine with Train
We begin our adventure towards the volcanoes of Java. At the indicated time, around 6.00Am, we will pick you up at your hotel for the transfer to the train station to start a long journey to Jombang/Surabaya (around 8 hours). Upon arrival, transfer to the slopes of the Bromo Volcano. Check-in at your hotel for well-deserved rest after so many hours traveling.

Day 08: Bromo Tour – Surabaya – Bali
Very early, your guide and a jeep driver will be waiting for you at the hotel to attend one of the most spectacular sunrises in Indonesia. Even if you have to get up early, it will be worth it. You will climb to a high point first in full darkness and, little by little, the first rays of sun are giving way to a huge and indescribable caldera that makes up the entire view of the Natural Park of Bromo and Semeru. With Bromo, a volcano of large fumaroles and behind it, the Semeru Volcano with explosions every 20 minutes exactly, will make you have one of the most rewarding experiences ever had. After enjoying the sunset, by jeep, we will go to the slopes of the volcano where you can approach the Bromo volcano and after climbing some stairs you can reach the very edge of its crater and see the impressive activity it has. We return to the hotel to refresh you and enjoy your breakfast. At the agreed time, your guide and conduit will take you back to Surabaya airport to take your flight to Bali where they will be waiting for you for the transfer to your hotel in Ubud. Day 09: Ubud Tour; Bedugul – Tanah Lot
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and we will visit the places on the fantastic come2indonesia route. The first site will be the Taman Ayun Temple (it was founded in the seventeenth century), located in the village of Mengwi that until 1891 was the seat of a powerful dating back to the Gellel Dynasty, which is surrounded by a moat that looks like a garden shrine, which explains the term taman, or garden. The temple is a penyawangan or place to worship other sacred sites. From Taman Ayun, the compass heads towards Jatiluwih, where we will undoubtedly admire and enjoy a beautiful view of rice terraces that cover the entire landscape of South Bali. The name Jatiluwih is composed of two words, Jati which really means and Luwih which means beautiful, good, special, beautiful. Without a doubt, this place not only has a beautiful name but that beauty is really reflected in its landscape.
From Jatiluwih, we will go to Bedugul where we will visit the Ulun Danu Bratan Temple, the famous temple that stands in a small promoter located on the shore of Lake Beratan and has the beautiful landscape with the lake and the mountain as a backdrop. It is without a doubt, one of the most photogenic temples in all of Indonesia. This temple is dedicated to Dewi Danu, goddess of waters. We will close the visit on this fantastic route and end the day watching the sunset at the most famous and photographed temple in Bali, the Pura Tanah Lot. Torn off from the earth on a stone pedestal sculpted by incoming tides, the lonely black towers of the Tanah Lot and the plumes of foliage spilled from the cliffs recall the delicacy of Chinese painting. The Pura Tanah Lot or the Temple of Earth in the Middle of the Sea was built in the sixteenth century. Then we return hotel.

Day 10: Tenganan, Virgin Beach, Lempuyang Temple
After breakfast, we start the tour with the visit to Tenganan Village, located in the northwest of Candidasa, Tenganan is a symmetrical village of Bali Aga with wall houses and unique handicrafts. Here we can see the way in which the true Balinese society lives its daily life through the traditions they have maintained, regardless of external cultural influences. The next visit will be Virgin Beach, a hidden beach difficult to find and the only white sand beach in this area of East Bali. Locals call it White Sand Beach. There we can relax, eat fresh fish in the beach bars on the shore or sunbathe. Finally, we will visit the temple of Lempuyang. Upon arrival, the temple will greet you with its gratifying panorama that extends into infinity. On a clear and sunny day, you will be able to contemplate the mountains, the city of Amlapura and Mount Agung, an incredibly beautiful sight. This temple is called the gates of heaven because it is located on a hill. With the gate and the volcano in the background, this photo has become famous for its beauty.

Day 11: Cycling in Bali
You will enjoy your well-deserved breakfast at the hotel. Then they will come looking for you
to explore the highlands of this land. By car equipped with air-conditioning, the driver together with your tour guide, will take you to Kintamani to enjoy a second breakfast in the restaurant. You will have breakfast outdoors with a view of the Batur Volcano, about 1,717 meters high, and the volcanic lake, Lake Batur. Finishing your breakfast, we begin our exploration. Gentle cycling down for the next two and a half hours after breakfast. Don’t forget to take souvenirs with your camera. We will pass through coffee plantations (Luwak coffee) as well as some magical plants such as cloves, cocoa, vanilla, yucca and taro among others. You will breathe the fresh mountain air.
Further inside, we will do a short and gentle trekking in the rice fields where you can experience first-hand what it is like to grow with the detailed explanation about agriculture and everything that is linked to it. You will have the explanations about the spiritual beliefs of the Balinese, the lifestyle, the distribution system. You will feel as if you are in the spiritual world.

Days 12 –13- 14: Bali Ubud – Free days
Today you will quietly enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and the rest of the day will be for you. You can take advantage of the day for what you want, you can hire a massage, enjoy a spa, walk and go shopping or simply relax and enjoy the hotel facilities. We are in Ubud, here you can stroll through the local market, visit the hundreds of craft design workshops, sculptures, paintings in the shops that are on each side of the street. It is a perfect day to learn more about the daily activities of the locals, find a coffee overlooking the jungle or cross paths with a naughty monkey on Monkey Forest Street. At night there are performances of Balinese Dances, you can contact the hotel reception and request information to attend any of them. Day 15: Denpasar – Jakarta. End of adventure
Today is the last day of your trip in Indonesia. After having breakfast at the hotel and depending on the time of your flight, we will pick you up to take you to Denpasar airport to take the plane that will take you back to Jakarta. Upon arrival, you will have to check in, pass immigration and board your regular flight to Spain.
