Itinerary

Day 1: Zagreb Arrival

Arrival at Zagreb Airport. Transfer to hotel and check in. Dinner on own, in hotel or local restaurant.

 

Day 2: Zagreb City Tour

After breakfast, discover Zagreb. The Croatian capital will seduce you with its flair which is a combination of the middle European and Slavic atmosphere. Visit the Upper town, one of the best-preserved urban nuclei in Croatia, which will give you a great insight in medieval Zagreb.

Later in the afternoon enough time to visit some of the numerous museums and galleries. Dinner in hotel or local restaurant.

 

Day 3: Zagreb – Plitvice National Park – Split

After breakfast, transfer to the south, to Plitvice Lakes National Park, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit to a national park. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. After the national park walking tour, transfer to Split – the heart of Dalmatia. Dinner on own, in hotel or local restaurant. Overnight in Split.

 

Day 4: Split

Following breakfast, discover the historic inner city of Split, built within the Roman emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. Dinner in hotel or local restaurant. Overnight in Split.

 

Day 5: Split – Dubrovnik

Following the breakfast, transfer to Dubrovnik – the pearl of the Adriatic. Upon arrival, discover the old town of Dubrovnik, a UNESCO site. During its tumultuous history, many nations and maritime forces met and battled in this area.

 

Day 6: Dubrovnik

After breakfast, spend your day in the old town again. Have a walk along impressive Dubrovnik city walls with fortresses. Don’t miss the opportunity to go for a cable car ride to the top of Srdj Mountain, from where you can enjoy spectacular panorama view over the city. Dinner in hotel or local restaurant. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
