Day 1: Arrival
You will be met at Kilimanjaro Airport by your personal driver/guide or our representative. Who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha for dinner and overnight stay waiting for your adventures to start on the following day?
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast we depart for Tarangire, Tanzania’s third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals
concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah and up to six thousand elephants.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing drive with picnic lunches. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of African animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Manyara is famous
for tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos, attracted by the algae in the lake.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Early morning after breakfast, you will drive straight to Serengeti National Park passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will explore the vast Serengeti with its endless plains looking for the big cats. The Serengeti hosts the largest
mammal migration in the world and is a popular destination for popular African safaris. It is the migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous.
Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains seasonally. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge, or crocodile infested river can hold them back. After lunch and further
game drive, you will drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5&6: Serengeti National Park
You will have breakfast at the Lodge before we embark on an early morning game drive in the park. The Migration, consisting of around 2 million animals, is on the move all year round. Depending on the season you may see this impressive phenomenal.
Naturally it also attracts a mass of predators and you may be able to see a band of lionesses gather for a hunt. You will return to your lodge for lunch and to rest for afternoon game drive.
Option Hot Air Balloon
A balloon flight over the Serengeti is widely considered a bucket list activity that offers a serene and spectacular experience floating over the vast, lush, and game filled plains.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations.
It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck, the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only.
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast we will proceed to Arusha for your flight out depending on the flight time.
