Day 1: Arrival In Oslo
Late arrival in Oslo on the direct flight. Overnight at an airport hotel.
Day 2: Explore Oslo / Departure to Tromso
After breakfast, take an early morning flight to Tromso, “Gateway to the Arctic,”. Upon arrival collect luggage and catch taxi from airport to the accommodation in the city centre. In the afternoon, you are free to explore Tromso’s landmarks such as the Arctic Cathedral, the Polar Museum, and the Fjellheisen Cable Car offering breathtaking views of the surrounding fjords and mountains.
Day 3: Discover Tromso / Embark the Havila Coastal Cruise
After breakfast, you have more time to visit Tromsø. In the evening, embark on a journey of unparalleled coastal beauty aboard the Havila Cruise.
Day 4: Finnsnes–Harstad–Risøyhamn–Sortland–Stokmarknes Svolvær–Stamsund
Today’s stop is in the stunning and picturesque Lofoten Islands, where the scenery is a mix of wild and idyllic. Discover the coastline, with its chalky, white, and sandy beaches alongside charming fishing villages, which still thrive on a vibrant fishing industry. Weather permitting, the ship will venture into the narrow Trollfjord, which offers an excellent chance to spot majestic sea eagles.
Day 5: Bodø–Ørnes–Sandnessjøen–Brønnøysund–Rørvik
At this point the ship has ventured so far south that it has left the polar land behind and crossed the Arctic Circle. Summer brings the magical midnight sun. Sail past numerous small islands, islets, and mountains, including the unique Torghatten mountain, which features a hole in its centre. Optional hike on the mountain to explore the cavern.
Day 6: Trondheim–Kristiansund–Molde–Ålesund
Sail through the vast Trondheim fjord, flanked by rolling farmland on either side, before reaching the coast and the open sea once more. Kristiansund offers the opportunity for a scenic bus tour along the Atlantic Ocean Road, considered one of the world’s most beautiful drives. The road winds along islets and reefs, and after the tour, rejoin the ship in Molde.
Day 7: Torvik–Måløy–Florø–Bergen
On the final day sail through a varied coastal landscape that features rugged Rocky Mountains and an intricate network of straits and waterways between countless islands. The magnificent fjords and glaciers are located further inland. The voyage ends in Bergen, however there is still time for one last adventure – a captivating excursion through the city’s history, flavours, and breathtaking views.
In the late evening, board the overnight train from Bergen to Oslo offering comfortable sleeping berths.
Day 8: Departure from Oslo
Upon arrival in Oslo you may explore Oslo Prebooked transfer to Oslo Airport. Afternoon departure to Malta.
