Day 1: Kuala Lumpur – Arrival
Upon arrival at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, meet & greet and transfer to your hotel. Kuala Lumpur is a bustling metropolis with unique landmarks that are instantly recognisable worldwide. The city’s ability to combine the old with the new creates a delightful contrast which is part of its charming appeal.
One of Asia’s most dynamic cities, Kuala Lumpur is a melting pot of races and cultures brimming with diverse entertainment options, exciting attractions, and a comprehensive transportation system.
Accommodation: The Hotel Stripes, Kuala Lumpur (Deluxe)
Day 2: Kuala Lumpur: City & Country Side Tour
Breakfast will be taken at the hotel.
At 0900hrs, depart your hotel and proceed with your tour of the day. This tour takes you to Gombak Rivers, the site of KL’s humble beginning. Move on to view the splendour of the King’s Palace followed by the National Monument at the Lake Gardens, a sprawling 91.6 hectares of immaculate lawns, undulating hills and carefully cultivated gardens, a scene of harmony, beauty & tranquillity both natural and man-made.
Proceed to the beautiful National Mosque and drive past the Railway Station to make a stop at Independence Square before the city tour concludes with a photo stop at the centre-piece of KL, the magnificent Petronas Twin Towers.
Lunch will be taken at a local restaurant during the tour.
Your country side tour starts at the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory, where you will be able to see the different processes involved in working with the pewter, including casting, filing, polishing, soldering, hammering and engraving. You will have the option to purchase any of the pieces that you might fancy.
Next, proceed with a visit to a local Batik Centre to see how Batik, the official apparel of Malaysia is produced. Your last stop of the day would be at the limestone hills of Batu Caves, an outcrop that houses a Hindu Temple. You will need to climb 272 steps to reach the top and the temple. Batu Cave is a famous pilgrimage place for the Hindus during the “Thaipusam” festival. After spending some time here, you will be returned to your hotel. Return to your hotel after the tour and at leisure.
Day 3: Kuala Selangor Firefly Tour
Breakfast will be taken at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure and own activities.
Depart to Kuala Selangor for the Firefly tour, one of the largest firefly colonies in the world. On arrival, we will visit “Kota Melawati” formerly known as “Fort Altinsburg”, the tour includes the execution block, royal mausoleum, colonial buildings on the bird sanctuary at the foot of the hill. After this, we proceed to Kampung Kuantan for seafood dinner.
After dinner, we will be rowed upstream in small unmotorised boats in the quiet night to see this natural phenomenon of synchronized, rhythmic flashing produce by thousands of fireflies, much like the flickering lights of Christmas trees. You will arrive at the hotel at around 2300hrs.
Day 4: Kuala Lumpur – Taman Negara
Breakfast will be taken at the hotel & checkout.
0900hrs: Depart from your hotel lobby to the Kuala Tahan Jetty.
1300hrs: Expected arrival at Kuala Tahan Jetty and cross the river to Mutiara Taman Negara (Official Check-in Time is 3.00pm), while waiting to check in, you may have lunch (on your own account) at the resort’s Seri Mutiara Restaurant. After check in, rest of the day at leisure and own activities.
1900hrs: Buffet dinner will be taken at the resort coffeehouse.
2030hrs: After dinner proceed to the resort’s lobby to be introduced to your guide.
2045hrs: Depart for your Night Jungle Walk. The jungle comes alive at night, and this is a great opportunity to experience the unique sights and sounds of the nocturnal plants and insects.
Return to the resort and overnight after the tour.
Day 5: Taman Negara
After breakfast, enjoy a 1½ hour trek up Teresek Hill and be rewarded with a
magnificent view of the tropical rainforest at the top. On a clear day, you can
see Mount Tahan, the highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia. Continue your
adventure with a canopy walkway (closed on Friday), built 40 meters above the ground and 530 meters in length. Experience the rainforest from a different perspective, as you get closer to the top of the trees!
This afternoon, take boat ride to the cataracts of Lata Berkoh enjoying the
splendid pristine jungle scenery along the way. Swim, relax or read amidst the
serene atmosphere.
Lunch and dinner at the hotel.
Day 6: Taman Negara – Kuala Tahan – Cameron Highlands
0730hrs: Breakfast at Seri Mutiara Restaurant
1000hrs: Checkout from the resort & cross over to the Kuala Tahan jetty where your driver will be waiting to take you to Cameron Highlands.
Consisting of three main townships – Ringlet, Tanah Rata and Brinchang – Cameron Highlands is Malaysia’s largest hill resort. Characterised by a refreshing temperate climate and mesmerising highland panorama, it is made up of undulating valleys, sprawling tea plantations, terraced flower garden, vegetable farms and a strawberry park. Upon arrival, check in to the resort and at leisure.
Day 7: Mossy Forest Tour + Tea Plantation (Private basis)
Breakfast will be taken at the hotel.
After breakfast, meet up with your driver and proceed with your tour of the day. You will be met at your hotel lobby for your tour of the day. Hop into our Land Rover cruising along the picturesque rolling tea garden toward 6,666 feet above sea level, The Gunung Brinchang. Listen to our guides ‘tea talks’ while enjoying breathtaking view of the tea garden. On clear days the drive up to the highest mountain accessible by road in South East Asia, one will be blessed with the magnificent view of the surrounding area. An interpretive walk with our nature guides into the Mossy forest will reveal some of the exotic floras on earth, like the Pitcher plant, Orchids, Primitive Ferns, Spices and Medicinal Plants.
A drive down from the mountain will bring you to the Sungei Palas ‘BOH’ Tea Plantation. As the tea factory is closed to visitors, a video presentation will be shown detailing the processes of tea, from its beginnings to the finished product. After the presentation, you will be able to enjoy the plantation or you may appreciate the many varieties of tea offered at the Tea Shop. Return to your hotel after the tour. Return to your resort after the tour and at leisure.
Day 8: Cameron Highlands – IPOH – Penang
Breakfast will be taken at the resort and check out.
Depart the resort at 0900hrs. Visit the fruit and vegetable market before heading off to Penang. Penang is a delightful, fusion of nature, culture, and history. Comprising the island of Penang and Seberang Perai on the mainland with one of the longest bridges in Asia running the length between, the state is widely recognised as one of the world’s top holiday destinations. Home to a UNESCO World Heritage City, Penang leaves an indelible mark on each visitor, leaving them wanting more with each visit.
En route visit the Sam Poh Tong before proceeding to Butterworth, crossing the famous Penang Bridge. Visit the famous Snake Temple and check-in to the hotel. In the evening, proceed to Gurney Drive and free to walk along the hawker stall to enjoy the food and to see how the foods are being prepared.
Day 9: Georgetown Heritage Tour with Lunch
Breakfast will be taken at the hotel.
At 0900hrs, meet up with your driver guide who will take you on tour of the sights in Penang. You are setting off on a tour of enlightenment of Penang.The early settlement was established around the harbour with Fort Cornwallis forming the island39;s defense. Look at the Chinese houses on stilts, built to avoid paying taxes then. Walk along Little India to see how they had survived in their trades of yester-years and thrive today in the modern world.
The Peranakan Museum unfolds the lifestyle of the Baba/Nonya found only in the Straits Settlements that comprised of Penang, Malacca & Singapore around 1832. Visit the Khoo Kongsi, one of the most distinctive Chinese clan associations in Malaysia. The tour will also take you to the 4th longest reclining Thai Buddhist Temple in the world.
After the tour, proceed for lunch at the famous Blue Mansion. Return to your hotel after the tour and at leisure.
Day 10: Penang – Langkawi by flight
Breakfast will be taken at the hotel and checkout.
Check-out and transfer to Penang Airport for your onward flight to Langkawi.
Upon arrival at Langkawi Airport, meet with your driver and transfer to Airport.
Check-in and the rest of the day is at your own leisure.
Day 11 – 13: Langkawi Island – Free day
Meals will be taken at the resort. Rest of the day at leisure and own activities.

Day 14: Langkawi Departure
