Upon arrival in Melbourne, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax or start exploring this cosmopolitan city at your leisure.
Day 2: Discover Melbourne
Today is devoted to sightseeing in Melbourne. You’ll explore the city’s major landmarks including the Royal Botanic Gardens, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and the iconic Flinders Street Station. A visit to Queen Victoria Market offers a taste of local life, and you’ll pass by Parliament House and the Fitzroy Gardens.
Day 3: Great Ocean Road Adventure
An early start takes you on one of Australia’s most scenic drives along the Great Ocean Road. Marvel at the dramatic coastline, surf beaches, and charming seaside towns. Highlights include a visit to the Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, and the Otway Rainforest. You’ll return to Melbourne in the evening, full of unforgettable coastal views.
Day 4: Wildlife Wonders Of Philip Island
Today you venture out to Phillip Island, famous for its wildlife and natural beauty. Visit the Koala Conservation Centre and Nobbies Centre before witnessing the world-famous Penguin Parade at sunset, where hundreds of little penguins waddle ashore after a day at sea.
Day 5: Arrival In Uluru
You’ll fly to the Red Centre today, arriving in Uluru. After checking into your accommodation, spend the afternoon exploring the iconic monolith. Visit the Cultural Centre to learn about the Anangu people, and enjoy a guided walk at the base of Uluru. In the evening, take in the changing colours of the rock at sunset – a truly spiritual experience.
Day 6: Uluru Base Walk at Sunrise & Kata Tjuta Small Group Tour
Enjoy an absolutely iconic experience when visiting Australia’s Red Centre—a full trek around the base of Uluru. As you start your sunrise walk around the 7.5-mile (12-kilometer) base trail of Uluru, embrace the culture, geology, and environment that is the essence of this amazing monolith. Stop along the trail for a picnic breakfast with an amazing close up view. Your guide tells the cultural stories (Tjukurpa) of Liru (poisonous snake) and Kuniya (woma python) as well as many other Aboriginal creation stories associated with this amazing natural landmark. Witness the sunrise, visit waterholes, see rock art sites of the ancients, and immerse yourself in the nature and culture of this very special place.
Enjoy a small-group tour of majestic Kata Tjuta, one of Australia’s most iconic natural wonders. Travel from Ayers Rock Resort in an air-conditioned tour vehicle to Walpa Gorge, part of the Kata Tjuta site within UNESCO-listed Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Learn the natural history and cultural significance of this sacred site and walk through the gorge for an amazing perspective of this key landmark. Travel in a small group with a maximum of 11 participants for a more intimate experience.
Day 7: Arrival In Cairns
Fly to Cairns, gateway to the tropics and the Great Barrier Reef. After your flight, unwind at your resort. Spend the rest of the day at leisure enjoying the pool, nearby beaches, or exploring the town’s laid-back vibe.
Day 8: Cape Tribulation & Daintree Wonders
Embark on a full-day adventure to the Daintree Rainforest, one of the world’s oldest tropical rainforests. Cruise along the Daintree River in search of crocodiles and other wildlife, take a guided boardwalk through lush vegetation, and enjoy views from Alexandra Lookout. A visit to Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the reef, caps off this immersive nature experience.
Day 9: Reef Cruise & Snorkel Experience
Today is dedicated to exploring the Great Barrier Reef. Cruise out to the outer reef aboard a high-speed catamaran. Enjoy snorkelling among vibrant coral gardens or opt for a semi-submersible tour or an introductory scuba dive. A buffet lunch is served on board, and you return to Cairns in the late afternoon, with time to relax or explore the local dining scene.
Day 10: Arrival In Sydney
This morning you fly to Sydney, Australia’s harbour city. Once checked in, you can begin exploring the local area, perhaps taking a walk around Darling Harbour or the Rocks historic precinct, soaking in the vibrant harbour views.
Day 11: Sydney Icons Tour
A full day of sightseeing takes you through Sydney’s most iconic landmarks. Visit the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, enjoy the views from Mrs Macquarie’s Chair, and stroll through the Royal Botanic Garden. You’ll see Bondi Beach and have the chance to walk part of the famous Bondi to Coogee coastal path. The day may also include a harbour cruise for a unique perspective of the skyline.
Day 12: Free Day In Sydney
Today is yours to enjoy Sydney at your own pace. You might choose to take a day trip to the Blue Mountains, visit Taronga Zoo, explore the Art Gallery of NSW, or relax on Manly Beach. Alternatively, enjoy shopping, dining, or a guided tour inside the Opera House.
Day 13: Farewell Sydney
Your Australian adventure concludes today as you depart Sydney. Depending on your flight time, you may have a chance for a final walk by the harbour before your transfer to the airport.
