Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at the airport (Arusha) you will be met by your personal driver guide and drive you to your accommodation in Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay waiting for your adventures to start on the following day.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire, Tanzania’s third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals
concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah and up to six thousand elephants. Enjoy game drive with picnic lunches.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Early morning after breakfast, you will drive straight to Serengeti National Park passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will explore the vast Serengeti with its endless plains looking for the big cats. The Serengeti hosts the largest mammal migration in the world and is a popular destination for popular African safaris. It is the migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hill. After lunch and further game drive, you will drive to your accommodation for dinner.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Spend another full day of game drive in Serengeti National Park. The park has a lot to explore hence this another full day at the park will give you more time explore the park with a lot to offer. Serengeti where the extraordinary unfolds every day reserves a guaranteed humour, heart- breaking and nail-biting tension capturing the dramatic and emotional interconnected stories of iconic savannah Animals. Enjoy a whole day of game drives in these vast plains with intermediate break for lunch.
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After breakfast drive straight to Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the Largest Unbroken Calderas on the Planet with over 25,000 Wild Creatures in the Caldera More Prides Per Capita than Anywhere on Earth. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five, Lions, Leopard, Black Rhino, Elephants, and Buffalo.
It is one of the world’s most astonishing and among the 8th wonders of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The black rhino can easily be sighted in the crater. Think of another place in the world where you can see such a unique setting with diverse scenery, prolific wildlife and birdlife, and an ecosystem like no other. In the afternoon after lunch, ascend the crater and drive straight to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner.
Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we drive straight to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing drive. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of African animals, including one of Africa’s lar gest concentrations of elephants, Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos, attracted by the algae in the lake. After lunch and an extensive game drive, drive straight to your accommodation and in the evening you will have your dinner.
Day 7: Onwards flight to Zanzibar
After breakfast at your accommodation, your driver guide will pick you up and transfer straight to Arusha airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar (Nungwi). Nungwi is a village at the northern end of the Tanzanian island of Unguja, familiarly called Zanzibar. It’s known for the wide, palm- lined Nungwi Beach and a nearby boat-building yard for the production of traditional dhows. The Mnarani Marine Turtle Conservation Pond shelters green and hawksbill sea turtles in a tidal lagoon. Nungwi village has a population of about 5,563.
Nungwi was traditionally a fishing village and dhow-building center, but is now a popular tourist destination, and for instance recognized in CNN’s list of “100 best beaches of the world” in 2014. Activities that can be found in this area of the northern coast can be arranged at your hotel that includes snorkeling, scuba diving as well as dolphin tours.
Day 8,9 & 10: Zanzibar – Beach
Full days are spent at leisure for relaxation. You may opt for excursions.
Day 11: Departure / Outwards Travel
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out time is approximately 1000hrs. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your flight out.
