Day 1: Johannesburg
After your arrival you will be transferred to your hotel where you will stay for one night. You will be assisted to check-in and will afterwards you can enjoy your afternoon at leisure or enjoy an optional tour around the City of Gold.
Day 2: Thornybush Game Reserve
After a decadent breakfast you will be collected by an English-speaking driver for a
transfer to OR Tambo International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be assisted to board your flight to Hoedspruit.
Day 3 & 4: Thornybush Game Reserve
Today, you will enjoy your first full day in the bush! Set within the Greater Kruger National Park will allow any visitor to experience unforgettable wildlife safari as it promises a steady stream of free-roaming Big 5 safari animals and wildlife. Guests will see much more than just elephants and lions because Thornybush is well known for the vast diversity of wildlife, indigenous to this area.
Day 5: Cape Town
Time to head on to the Mother City – Cape Town. But, before you do, enjoy one last game drive. Upon arrival into Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by an English-speaking driver for a transfer to your hotel where you will be staying for the next three nights.
Day 6: Cape Town
Enjoy a decadent breakfast at your hotel or explore The Mother City with an optional Cape Town City Tour. The first stop is Table Mountain’s Lower Cableway Station, where we will explore the mountain’s summit and absorb the breathtaking views before descending. Then walk through the city via the old Cape Malay Quarter and stroll through the city to Greenmarket Square.
Day 7: Cape Town
Enjoy a decadent breakfast at your hotel or experience an optional tour of The Cape Peninsula or The Cape Winelands.
Day 8: Hermanus
Built along the beautiful shores of Walker Bay and is the official Whale Watching Capital of the World as well as a popular holiday destination. Hermanus is surrounded by majestic mountains, indigenous Fynbos and spectacular natural beauty while its residents are the heart and soul of the town providing an unforgettable holiday experience. This coastal resort offers the best land based whale watching in the world.
Day 10: Oudtshoorn
When you take a trip down the N2, between the Eastern and Western Cape, you’ll
discover one of South Africa’s best-kept secrets: the Garden Route.
The Garden Route is a mix of modern golf courses, ancient forests, secluded artists’ communities, retirement estates, modern malls, craft centres, mountain hideaways and beach holidays. A large number of interesting and creative people are drawn to this magnificent stretch of coastline and many of them now call it home.
Day 10: Knysna
You will enjoy breakfast at leisure and how about another tour before heading to your next destination? Visit Cango Caves for a Heritage Tour. An easy walk through the first six largest and most spectacular halls and continuing
through to the “African Drum room”.
Day 10: Cape Town
The time has come to say goodbye to the beautiful Garden Route. You will check-out after breakfast and your guide will collect you for your transfer back to Cape Town.
