Day 1: San Jose Arrival

Day 2: San Jose – Tortuguero
Enjoy full board and a shared transfer from San José to Guápiles, with pickup directly from your hotel. Your expedition begins early in the morning as you journey toward the lush plains of the North Caribbean. The highlight of this region is the stunning Tortuguero National Park, one of the most biodiverse and scenic parks in Costa Rica. Known for its tropical forests and rich vegetation, Tortuguero offers an incredible opportunity to observe a wide variety of flora and fauna, making it a nature lover’s paradise.
After arriving in Guápiles, take a shared boat transfer to Tortuguero, navigating through scenic rainforest canals that offer a unique view of the region’s rich biodiversity. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a guided shared tour of the town of Tortuguero, where you’ll explore the local culture, meet friendly residents, and learn about the significant conservation efforts dedicated to protecting the sea turtles that nest along this protected coastline each year.
Day 3: Tortuguero
Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel. Tortuguero canals Shared Tour . Enjoy a magical boat ride through the different natural canals of the National Park, where you can observe different species of mammals, birds and reptiles. Tortuguero offers you full contact with Mother Nature. A large part of the National Park extends along its pristine beaches that serve as a refuge for the spawning of sea turtles.

Day 4: Tortuguero – Guápiles – Arenal
Breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, enjoy a shared boat transfer from Tortuguero to Guápiles, with a scenic boat ride to the port of La Pavona to begin your journey to the Guápiles area. Lunch is provided en route. Following lunch, continue your trip with a shared transfer from Guápiles to Arenal, one of Costa Rica’s most popular destinations, renowned for its majestic volcano and the therapeutic properties of its natural hot springs.
Day 5: Arenal
Breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, enjoy a Shared Canopy & Tarzan Swing Tour with pick-up from your hotel lobby. This exciting adventure begins just 30 minutes from La Fortuna at the Arenal Canopy Adventure zipline park. Upon arrival, our expert zipline guides will welcome you warmly. After gearing up and receiving a safety briefing, you’ll climb to an 80-foot (25 m) platform where your thrilling journey begins. The tour includes 8 zipline cables that stretch for 1.2 miles (2 km), offering an exhilarating ride through the lush rainforest.
The zipline circuit is interconnected by 13 platforms, 4 of them built on huge trees with anchoring systems that do not affect the growth of the tree, the cables have heights from 65 feet (20 m) to 300 feet (90 m), and distances from 230 feet (70 m) to 1970 feet (600 meters), allowing speeds of up to 35 miles per hour (56 km/h). Each cable is very different in size and scenery, we will cross through canyons and mountains, dense vegetation and pastures. Next, we make a stop for the popular launch of the Tarzan Swing, this will be a plus that for now we will call the surprise challenge.
Day 6: Arenal – Monteverde
Breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, enjoy a shared boat transfer from Arenal to Monteverde, with pick-up from your hotel. You’ll travel by boat to Monteverde, a mountainous region in northwestern Costa Rica, famous for its biodiversity and the renowned Monteverde Biological Reserve. The area is a top destination for ecotourism. Accommodation in Monteverde is included.
Day 7: Monteverde
Breakfast at the hotel. Then, enjoy a shared tour of the hanging bridges in Monteverde, with pick-up from your hotel. Discover the iconic SkyWalk hanging bridges, the birthplace of Costa Rica’s hanging bridge adventures since 1997. This immersive experience offers a unique perspective of the cloud forest, allowing you to explore the treetops just like monkeys and sloths—high above the forest floor. Accommodation in Monteverde is included.
Day 8: Monteverde – Guanacaste
Breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, enjoy a shared transfer from Monteverde to Guanacaste, with pick-up from your hotel. Travel by regular transfer to Guanacaste, a region on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast known for its stunning beaches, warm climate, and rich cultural folklore. Accommodation in Guanacaste.
Days 9 & 10: Guanacaste
Spend two full days in Guanacaste soaking up the sun and exploring the beauty of Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. This region is famous for its golden beaches, crystal-clear waters, and laid-back atmosphere, making it perfect for both relaxation and adventure. You can unwind by the ocean, enjoy activities like snorkelling, surfing, or ziplining, or explore nearby national parks and wildlife reserves. With its breathtaking sunsets, vibrant local culture, and delicious coastal cuisine, Guanacaste offers an unforgettable escape into tropical paradise.
Day 11: Guanacaste – San Jose Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Then, enjoy a shared transfer from Guanacaste to San José, with pick-up from your hotel. Travel by regular transfer back to San José, the capital city of Costa Rica. Departure to Malta.
