Arrive Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Meet with your guide, and transfer to your staying hotel downtown Kuala Lumpur. Check-in, and the rest of the day is at your own leisure.

Day 3: City Sightseeing – 21st July ’25
This morning, proceed with Kuala Lumpur City Sightseeing. This tour introduces you to the beauty of old and modern Kuala Lumpur. Photo stop at the famous Petronas Twin Towers; the world’s tallest, as they stand majestically in the city center.
Proceed to the breathtaking Royal King Palace, which provides excellent photographic opportunities. Next stop to the National Monument, drive passes the National Mosque and the Railway Administrative building before coming to the Independence Square. Here at this spot, you will also be able to photograph the scenic Sultan Abdul Samad building with its intricate Moorish
architecture.
Continue to one of the tallest Communication Tower in Southeast Asia, enjoy
a panoramic view of the city. After lunch at a local restaurant, returned to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 4: Batu Caves & Royal Selangor Pewter – 22nd July ’25
After breakfast depart to the limestone hills of Batu Caves, an outcrop that houses a Hindu Temple. You will need to climb 272 steps to reach the top and the temple. Batu Cave is a famous pilgrimage place for the Hindus during the “Thaipusam” festival.
Continue to the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory, where you will be able to see the different processes involved in working with the pewter, including casting, filing, polishing, soldering, hammering, and engraving. After tour, you’ll be drop-off at the well-known KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Centre), for your own leisure time. Return to hotel on your own.

By 1800hrs, depart to Central Market where a wide selection of Malaysian handicrafts and souvenirs are on display. Peruse the stalls for lovely handmade trinkets to take home with you. Continue onwards to the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple is the oldest temple in the city. The smell of burning incense, incessant chants of Hindu priests, intricate carved deities and
the religious aura combined, will give you a lasting impression of this mystical and unique religion. After dinner, stroll along the open–air bazaar of Chinatown where it is liveliest in the evening before returning to your staying hotel
Day 5: Departure Kuala Lumpur – 23rd July
Breakfast and check-out. Transfer to KL Airport for your onward departure flight.
Upon arriving in Kota Kinabalu Airport you’ll be transferred to your hotel. In the evening, we’ll pick you up for a city tour, followed by a visit to the night market where you can explore a diverse range of local spices, souvenirs, fruits, and vegetables. Conclude the evening with a delightful dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Day 6: Tunku Abdul Rahman Park islands – 24th July ’25
Spend a day of sun, sea, and sand on an offshore coral island. Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the jetty for a 30-minute boat ride to one of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park islands for a day of relaxation on your own.
1015HRS – Proceed with another boat transfer to your next island visit. Snorkel in crystal clear water among coral reefs and rainbow-coloured fishes.
1215HRS – Back to the boat and depart to Gaya Island for lunch before venturing for a swim or simply laze away.
1420HRS – Return to Kota Kinabalu.

Day 7: Mt. Kinabalu – 25th July 2025
Drive 2 hours overland to the foothills of Mt. Kinabalu at 1500m above sea level. Have a short stop at Pekan Nabalu market to savor local fruits that are in season. Visit the Kinabalu Geopark Gallery and Mountain Garden in Kinabalu Park Headquarters. If the weather permits, take a guided walk on one of the trails in the cool surroundings to explore the montane forest. Return to Kota Kinabalu.

Day 8: Departure to Lahad Datu – 26th July 2025
Pick-up from your hotel and transfer to Kota Kinabalu airport for your early morning flight to Lahad Datu.
Your adventure begins with an airport pickup and a quick stop at the office for check-in. Then, embark on a 2.5-hour overland journey to reach our new ecolodge; Utan Rainforest Lodge, featuring 14 air-conditioned rooms located within the Virgin Jungle Reserve (VJR) of Sungai Kapur.
Indulge in our rooms with en suite bathrooms and heated showers, as well as our covered restaurant and open deck, dip pool, and not forgetting our bar and gift corner (completed by 1st July).
Upon arrival, receive a warm welcome with a facility briefing followed by a delectable lunch and check-in thereafter. Get a taste of Sungai Kapur’s Virgin Jungle Reserve and its world of flora and fauna during an introductory walk nearby the lodge. As the day unfolds, embark on a sunset river cruise for wildlife encounters and a mesmerising estuary sunset. If weather permits, you may witness a captivating summertime light show courtesy of fireflies as you make your way back to the lodge for dinner.
After dinner, go on a night safari drive for a chance to encounter the nocturnal wildlife that surrounds our forest. Overnight at Utan Rainforest Lodge – Deluxe Rainforest.

Day 9: Rainforest Trek – 27th July 2025
Wake up to the sounds of gibbons and hornbills in the rainforest. After a quick bite, we will set out for a short morning hike. Immerse yourself in the surroundings while getting your heart racing as we visit Cuckoo Hide to photograph one of Borneo’s endemic birds and other birdlife found in the area. Thereafter, return to the lodge to freshen up before enjoying a scrumptious breakfast at the restaurant.
Following breakfast, if weather and sea conditions permit, we’ll embark on a river cruise adventure along the coastline, venturing into the Segama River and its mangrove forest. Keep your eyes peeled for a chance in wildlife encounters, such as flying foxes, eagles, and dolphins. Head back to the lodge to relax and refresh before a hefty lunch. Rest up after lunch and prepare yourself for a long jungle trek.
Before going on your jungle trek, explore our lodge further at the information gallery, shop for souvenirs, savour our premium in-house beverages at the restaurant and take a dip in our dip pool to beat the heat. When the sun sets, tantalise your taste buds with a delicious dinner, and proceed to head out for a night walk around the lodge. Experience the serenity of the night and keep an eye out for nocturnal creatures like civets, leopard cats, mouse deer, and moonrats that rule the night. Return to the lodge for a good night’s rest.

Day 10: Sukau – 28th July 2025
After breakfast, depart overland to reach Lahad Datu. Have your lunch before departing for another 2.5 Hours to reach Sukau.
Arrive Lepit jetty and proceed to depart for a 5 Minute speedboat ride top reach Sukau Rainforest Lodge. Enjoy a scrumptious dinner overlooking the riverbank followed by slide presentation and interpretation by a Night
Cruise.
After dinner, go on a night safari drive for a chance to encounter the nocturnal wildlife that surrounds our forest. Stay overnight at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge – Deluxe Room.

Day 11: Kinabatangan River – 29th July 2025
Early depart for 2.5 Hours Overland to Sepilok. Proceed to to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. We proceed to watch a video show about the plight of the Orang Utans and the rehabilitation efforts ongoing at the Centre. Walk ten minutes through the rainforest on wooden boardwalks to witness the feeding of the orang utans at 1000hrs, and then we continue to the newly completed enclosed nursery area for young orangutans.
Thereafter, visit the Borneo Sun Bear Conservation Centre to learn about the conservation of the world’s smallest bear.
After lunch, depart back for 2 Hours Land Journey to Sukau Rainforest Lodge. In the afternoon, we proceed for
river cruise for more wildlife. Stay overnight at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge – Deluxe Room.

Day 12: Departure – 30th July 2025
Early depart for 2.5 Hours Overland to Sandakan. Proceed to Sandakan Airport for your flight departing 1010Hrs.
