DAY 1 – Welcome to the City of Santa Claus – Rovaniemi!

Flight to Rovaniemi, operated by Air Malta. Transfer from Rovaniemi Airport to Ranua Resort, duration approximately 1 hour. Settle down in your Igloo and enjoy an unobstructed view across the open lake to the far-reaching northern horizons.

DAY 2 Visit Ranua Wildlife Park / Husky Safari

In the wildlife park, you will find a total of 50 northern and arctic animal species and about 150 animal individuals. The only polar bear in Finland lives in our wildlife park, and we also have wolves, lynxes, wolverines, brown bears, arctic fox, owls, moose, reindeer, otters and much more! 

In the afternoon, drive the sled whilst the other sits comfortably admiring the wintry scenery. 

DAY 3: Christmas day

Led by the safari guide, we will board the snowmobile waiting at Holiday Village Gulo Gulo’s reception. The guide advises how to sit in the sleigh and explains the precautions. Thanks to the sleds’ excellent lights, visibility is good even on a dark forest route, and after 10 minutes of driving, the guide suddenly stops the journey as we reach the yard of the secret cottage, decorated with lanterns. There Santa Claus is sitting inside in a rocking chair… an unforgettable meeting with Santa begins!

DAY 4: Reindeer Journey / Snowmobile Adventure

Experience a traditional Lapland reindeer ride in a winter forest landscape! This 3 kilometer ride is suitable for the whole family. The ride takes place near Ranua Wildlife Park.

In the evening, embark on a snowmobile safari through the wintry forest. During the journey, we stop a few times to enjoy warm drinks by the campfire. If we’re lucky, we’ll also see the magnificent northern lights.

DAY 5 – Bye Bye Lapland! 

It is time to say bye-bye to Lapland, the magical home of Santa! Take the last deep breaths of fresh air and Christmas spirit into your mind and start your journey back to home. Direct flight to Malta operated by Air Malta.
