Apukka Resort New Year

DAY 1 – Welcome to the City of Santa Claus – Rovaniemi! 

Flight to Rovaniemi, operated by Air Malta. Short transfer from Rovaniemi Airport to Apukka Resort, located in the middle of the wilderness.

DAY 2 – Santa Claus Village  

Take the shuttle bus from outside our resort to Santa Claus village. Visit Snowman World,  the most exhilarating snowy playground of the Santa Claus Village. While enjoying holiday activities, you can occasionally revitalize yourselves with the tasty servings of the Snow Restaurant and Ice Bar, while admiring some fine snow and ice sculptures. Optional Ice Karting & Mini Snowmobiles experiences available at Santa Claus Village. 

DAY 3  – Husky Adventure / Aurora Snow Train

Huskies are one of the most loved animals of the north, and you will understand why when you meet the pack at Apukka. They absolutely love pulling loads and running on the trail across the forests. The highlight of the day is the 7–10 km long safari, where you get to be the musher yourself, in other words control the pack of huskies towing the sled. 

In the evening, embark on a snow train to hunt for the northern lights. We head out in the wilderness and eventually we gather around the blazing bonfire, to enjoy sausages and hot drinks. Our aurora expert will help you with camera settings to best capture the Northern Lights.

DAY 4 Reindeer Journey

Take a seat in a cosy reindeer sled and start the journey through the Magic Forest. The Elves along the way are there to help you to find Santa’s Secret Hut, a place filled with magic. With their help you’ll find a Secret Pathway in the snow, leading you to a very special place. Maybe Santa has a small surprise waiting for you?

DAY 5 – Visit to Santa Park   

Join the merry Elves on an unforgettable journey to the heart of Christmas at Santa Park, an indoor amusement park in Rovaniemi. Hop on the Magic Train and travel through enchanting worlds, enjoy the jolly Elf Show on the main stage, send your Christmas greetings at our buzzing Post Office, decorate cookies in the cozy kitchen of Mrs. Gingerbread.

DAY 6 – Bye Bye Lapland!  

It is time to say bye-bye to Lapland, the magical home of Santa! Take the last deep breaths of fresh air and Christmas spirit into your mind and start your journey back to home. Direct flight to Malta operated by Air Malta.
