5-Day Arctic Wilderness Resort (Adults Only)

Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul
Arrive in Istanbul and transfer booked to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Arrival in Rovaniemi
Transfer to Arctic Wilderness Resort which is easily accessible at all times of the year – only a 15-minute drive from Rovaniemi international airport and a ride to downtown takes 20 minutes by car.
Then take a short tour in a snowmobile. The tour is suitable for everyone who has never been driving a snowmobile before. Duration of the program is 1 hour, including preparations. The riding time on the snowmobiles is approximately 30 – 40 minutes. The average speed during our short tours is limited due to safety and traffic regulations.

Day 3: Visit to a Local Reindeer Farm
Visiting a genuine reindeer farm offers you an unique opportunity to learn and experience the local way of living close-by – especially when hosted by a family of reindeer herders, who’ve been practicing their profession on this old farm for centuries. A short ride of 400 meters is included in the visit as well as feeding the reindeer. Before heading back, you’ll be invited inside the old house to enjoy a hot drink and sweet pastry while listening to fascinating stories about reindeer herding and wilderness life in Lapland

Day 4: Husky Safari
On these safaris you will become a part of an amazing husky team which is able to run long distances.These unique and rare experiences are meant for those who enjoy nature and wish to experience it in a different kind of silence. Riding husky sleds is easy, just take it slow at first, remember the simple instructions and you’ll soon be having the time of your life.

Day 5: Free Day
Discover Rovaniemi and Santa Claus Village.

Day 6: Departure Rovaniemi
Explore Rovaniemi at your own leisure. Then catch flight from Rovaniemi to Istanbul

Day 7: Istanbul Departure – Arrival Malta
