1st Day: Italy / La Habana
Arrival in Havana, the capital with an ancient charm and the economic/cultural center of Cuba. Meeting with our representative. Transfer and accommodation at the booked facility. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.
2nd Day: La Habana
After breakfast (09:00), meeting with the Guide and start of the itinerary to discover Havana in a vintage car, to spend a morning aboard a Chevrolet or Cadillac from the 50s. From Miramar, Vedado, Plaza de la Revolución, Lungomare, Avenida del Puerto, Tunel de La Habana, Morro panoramic point up to the Historic Center of the city. 13:00 Lunch in a local restaurant. 15:00-18:00 Panoramic tour of classic Havana on foot in the historic center: Royal Castle, Palace of the Governors, Cathedral Square, Bodeguita del Medio with cocktail included. Visit to the Museo del Habano and Calle Mercaderes. Return to the accommodation. Dinner at a local restaurant. After dinner, departure to watch a night show. Return to the accommodation and overnight stay.
3rd Day: La Habana / Viñales Valley
After breakfast, departure for the excursion to the Viñales Valley with a guide and driver. Visit in transit to Pinar del Rio and continue to the Viñales Valley. Visit to the Benito Nodarse farm, where you will be shown the process of growing and processing tobacco, one of the main economic resources of the area. You will be able to see how the famous Cuban cigars are made. Lunch at the farm.
In the afternoon, stop at the Los Jazmines viewpoint, from where you will have a panoramic view of the valley and its characteristic mogotes, the rock formations that rise from the ground. Accommodation, dinner and overnight stay at the Los Jazmines hotel (or similar) in Viñales. Free evening.
4th Day: Viñales Valley / La Habana
Breakfast in a private house. Continuation of the panoramic tour of the Viñales Valley. Departure for Havana. Lunch in transit. Afternoon dedicated to visiting Fusterlandia, an unusual place to see in Havana (entrance to be paid on site EUR 2.50 per person). Located in the Jaimanitas neighborhood, Fusterlandia is considered an artistic paradise created by the Cuban Jose Fuster to revive his native neighborhood.
The artist began decorating his own house first and then those of some neighbours, then moving on to bus stops, fountains and everything that could give colour: the result was a rainbow of mosaics that fascinate visitors from all over the world. Accommodation, dinner and overnight stay at the booked facility. Free evening.
5th Day: La Habana / Cienfuegos / Trinidad
After breakfast, private transfer to Trinidad, passing through Cienfuegos. Short panoramic tour of the Perla del Sur and lunch in a local restaurant. Continue to Trinidad. Arrival in the city and accommodation in a private house. In the afternoon, start of the tour of Trinidad. Accommodation, dinner and overnight stay at the booked accommodation. Evening at leisure to visit the city’s music venues. Among our proposals: Casa de la Trova, Casa de la Musica.
6th Day: Trinidad
Breakfast in a private house. Excursion to the Valle de Los Ingenios, visit to San Isidro de los Destiladeros, visit to the 45m high Manaca Iznaga Tower located in an old sugar estate from the 18th century, 15 km from Trinidad, in the Valle de Los Ingenios; arriving at the highest point of the tower (about 42 meters high), you can see the entire estate and the plantation, the house and the slave sheds. Lunch at the Guachinango finca. In the afternoon, return to Trinidad with a stop at the Mirador de la Loma del Puerto. Accommodation, dinner and overnight stay at the booked accommodation. Evening at leisure to visit the city’s music venues.
7th Day: Trinidad / Cayo Las Iguanas / Trinidad
Breakfast in a private house. Departure for the Trinidad marina where you will board a catamaran to reach Cayo Las Iguanas. Lunch at the Cayo. Free time on the Cayo beach. Return and transfer to the private house in Trinidad. Free dinner and evening at leisure to visit the city’s music venues. Among our proposals: Casa de la Trova, Casa de la Musica.
8th Day: Trinidad / Santa Clara / Cayo Santa Maria
After breakfast, departure for Santa Clara. Panoramic tour of the city. Stop at the Mausoleum dedicated to Commander Ernesto “Che” Guevara (closed on Mondays) and the Monument to the Armored Train. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Cayo Santa Maria. Arrival and accommodation in the hotel with all-inclusive treatment. (END OF TOUR)
9th &10th Day: Cayo Santa Maria
Days available for beach activities. All-inclusive treatment in the hotel.
11 Day: Cayo Santa Maria / La Habana
Breakfast and lunch in the hotel (check-out at 12:00). Private transfer to José Martí Airport to take the return flight to Italy.
