Day 1: Arrival to Zagreb
Arrival to Zagreb airport. Transfer to selected hotel in Zagreb.
Explore Lower town with its “Horse shoe” green area, National Theater, “Mimara” museum, and the Upper town with Stone gate, Parliament building, Government building, and St. Mark’s Church. Visit the famous Zagreb cemetery “Mirogoj”, and Zagreb Cathedral in Kaptol area, walk through Zagreb streets and feel how the city
breathes.
In the late afternoon a walking foodie tour: head first to a lively little place dedicated to strukli – one of the most iconic regional dishes. Be sure to try the standard, traditional baked strukli, but you can also have a go at one of the upgraded versions. Now you are ready to do a wine tasting. Not many visitors know it, but there are several prominent wine regions around Zagreb. In case you are not into wines, we can do a craft beer tasting instead.

Day 2: Whole day excursion to National Park Plitvice Lakes
Following breakfast, 2h transfer to National Park Plitvice Lakes – Croatian largest, the
most beautiful and the most visited national park. Discover the national park, listed as
a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder
with 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. In
the late afternoon hours return to Zagreb.

Day 3: Half Day excursion to Trakoscan Castle
After breakfast, ride to the castle of Trakoscan (built in the 13th century), probably
the most beautiful castle in whole Croatia. Magnificent day trip to beautiful
Northern Croatia where you will have the opportunity to explore breathtaking
Trakošćan castle. In the afternoon hours return to Zagreb.
* Optional excursion: Visit Varazdin, the economic and cultural center of Northern
Croatia, and a former capital of Croatia. Today Varazdin attracts a lot of visitors
because of its baroque old town.

Day 4: Departure
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer from hotel to Zagreb airport.
