Lilly Muscat, Managing Director, set up Royal Travel in 2002 with the scope of creating a travel agency with a difference. This led her to specialise in honeymoons, an area she knew well from past experience. The company has grown to be one of the leading travel agencies in Malta, specializing in Honeymoons and Luxury holidays and Corporate Travel. She personally assists the top management/owners of the Corporate Companies who use the services of Royal Travel for their travel requirements.

Amongst her travels she has visited Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Bali, Thailand, Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman, Egypt, Morocco, Mauritius, Seychelles, Israel, Mexico, Florida, Canada and travelled extensively in Europe.

Pierina is our Travel Agency Manager. She started in the travel industry at the age of eighteen years working mostly on business travel. In July 2003, she joined Royal Travel where she has now been for fourteen years assisting couples planning their ideal honeymoon and then their family holiday.

She believes in the motto ‘Wherever you go, go with all your heart’ and being a mother of two, she tries to help her kids experience what the world  has to offer and enrich their knowledge of each place visited.

Like anyone who works in the travel industry, Pierina loves travelling. Her travels took her to Greece, Italy, UK, Netherlands, France, Germany, River cruising along the Rhine,  Canada, USA, Cuba, Mexico and Mauritius together with various cruise ships inaugurations, the last one being the Harmony of the Seas.

Marco has obtained a Travel Agent Diploma from ITS and worked for established travel agencies in Malta, for more than 16 years, mainly dealing with Corporate clients.

Italy is his second home, but has travelled all over Europe and quite a number of countries outside the old continent: Australia, USA, Nepal, Canada, Singapore, Cuba, Mexico and counting. He is fond of (good) food and wine and attends wine travel fairs on a regular basis.

Janine started working in Travel as a part-time Summer job and liked it so much that decided to study and get her IATA diploma and take it up full-time. She has been in the travel business for the past 28 years, working with different travel agents specializing in corporate as well as organized group travel.

She has always enjoyed travelling and was lucky enough to visit many interesting countries, like Africa, Vietnam, Brunei, Thailand and USA. “One of the most unforgettable experiences was white water rafting down the Zambezi River and whale watching in New England”.

Sobu joined the Royal Travel team in 2020. He is mainly responsible for managing bookings, liaising with airlines and selling packages to India and surrounding countries. Sobu also provides training to the company’s employees on the ticketing system.

He is an IATA qualified professional and had 5 years of experience with Expedia and Yatra before joining Royal Travel. At Expedia, Sobu was involved with assisting customer service agents with ticketing related queries, issuing all types of fares and handling client escalations.

Such work experience was of a huge benefit for the Royal Travel team as we were able to specialise more in the Asian market whilst establishing relationships with Indian business partners.

Stephanie joined Royal Travel thirteen years ago taking care of the accounts section.

She’s sociable and an outdoor person who loves to go for long walks, swim and do other adventurous activities.

For her, travelling is a must at any age, where one can experience unforgettable moments while enjoying other cultures. She also had her share of travelling by visiting countries like the Far East, USA, Mexico, Mauritius, Dubai, Abi Dhabi, UK, Italy, France, Germany, Greece and cruising around the Mediterranean.

Sam is the latest member to join the Royal Travel Team! He has obtained a Bachelors Degree in Economics & Finance whilst also successfully being awarded a Travel Agent Specialist by IATA. Travel has always been a huge part of his life as from an early age he was lucky enough to visit a number of destinations world-wide such as Mauritius, Seychelles, Dubai, Mexico, United Stated and various places in Europe.

Sam has a great desire to translate his passion in travel, in assisting his clients in creating tailor made travel itineraries which lead to an unforgettable experience. He truly believes that there is no such thing as a bad destination because every country has a special experience and a different adventure to offer!
